Lori J. Smith

1969 - 2015

Lori J. Smith, 46, of High Street, Johnsonburg, died suddenly Monday, June 15, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born June 9, 1969 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Elmer Wolff and Nancy (Grunthaner) Cherry, who survives.
On July 11, 1987, she married Richard "Smitty" Smith, and he survives.
She had worked in the custodial department of the Johnsonburg Paper Mill and most recently as custodian for the Piedmont Club. She was a member of Johnsonburg United Methodist Church, Piedmont Club and Johnsonburg American Legion. She lived all her life in Johnsonburg.
In addition to her husband, Richard "Smitty" Smith of Johnsonburg, and her mother, Nancy (Grunthaner) Cherry of Johnsonburg, she is survived by three children, Ashley Smith, Amber Smith, and Andrew Smith, all of Johnsonburg; one grandchild, Gracie Lowe; and four siblings, Kathy Hefright, David Wolff, Robin Wolff, and Joe Wolff, all of Johnsonburg.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Louis "Lulu" Cherry.
Funeral services for Lori J. Smith will be held Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at the Ubel Funeral Home, 111 Bridge St., Johnsonburg with Reverend Dan Reigel officiating. Interment will be in Wardvale Methodist Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Visitation will be Friday, June 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday, June 20 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
