Matthew Goodwill Obituary

Matthew Christopher Goodwill, 31, died and went to go be with Jesus on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
Matt was born in Wellsville, New York, on Aug. 1, 1986 then moved to Shinglehouse where he went to school and graduated in 2004, then moved to St. Marys with his mother.
Matt went to a day program where he loved making and coloring and just having fun. Matt would go to the Special Olympics, which he loved doing as well. Matt went to church in the pass and was back and forth to churches.
Matt would Jeep and cool car shows. He loved the color yellow because it was the color of busses that he enjoyed riding on. He also loved to go shopping and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Matt was a great son and a great love of my should and with all that said, he was very, very, well loved by family. He is survived by Erica Curran sister of DuBois; sister Aaron Harvey brother Ridgway; and uncles: Ronald Goodwill Richberg, New York; Raymond Goodwill, Wellsville, New York; Robert Goodwill Richberg, New York; Rodney Goodwill of Richberg, New York; and aunt Sherry and husband Bill Piazza, Jamestown, New York; aunt Beth Harvey of Salamanca, New York; and lots of nieces and nephews. Matt had a lot of friends as well.
General services will be held on July 3 at 1 p.m. at the Methodist Church across from the courthouse in Ridgway.
Contributions can be made to his mother, Debbie Craig for her son's stone.

Matthew u are my deadest son all that u want thru u was very strong young man mommy loves u and misses u soo much u was my life and still are and know I know u are with your grandmother's and the rest of my family mommy will always have u in my heart for ever I love u Matt u as miss may the lord b with u my love mommy

I don't know you but I feel your pain. As I can emphasize what you are feeling. Special needs parents were chosen by God because he knew you would give the love and care your child needed. Bless you and may the Lord guide you forward.
