Nancy L Cherry

1947 - 2021

Nancy L. Cherry, age 73, of High Street, Johnsonburg, PA, died Monday March 1, 2021 at Pinecrest Manor of St. Marys.  A daughter of the late Roman and Helen (Feldbauer) Grunthaner, she was born May 7, 1947 in St. Marys, PA.  Her first husband, Elmer Wolff, predeceased her in 1979, later she married Louis "Lulu" Cherry, who predeceased her in 2011.
Besides her parents, and her husbands, Nancy was predeceased by: a daughter, Lori Smith and a sister, Judy Grunthaner.
Nancy is survived by: four children, Robin (Tim) Rose of Johnosnburg, Kathy (John) Hefright of Johnsonburg, David Wolff of Johnsonburg, and Joseph Wolff of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Trey, Nicole, Isaac and Jayden Rose, Caleb and Colby Hefright, and Ashley, Amber and Andrew Smith; two great-grandchildren, Gracie Lowe and Lucas Smith; a brother, Fred Grunthaner of St. Marys; a sister, Ethel Taylor of St. Marys; and five step-children, Dino Cherry, Donna Waigand, Nicklous Cherry, Cindy Lupino and Albert Cherry.
Nancy was born and raised in St. Marys and has been a Johnsonburg resident since 1972.  She was Catholic by Faith and a member of the Johnsonburg Moose and Central Hose Clubs for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially her grandchildren.
Private services will be held by the family.
Interment will take place in the Laurel Hill Cemetery of Johnsonburg.
