Robert L. Carlson, 84, of Kane, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at UPMC Hamot after a short illness.
He was born January 2, 1937, in Kane, a son of the late Agner and Bessie Mohney Carlson.
On August 15, 1965, in Somerset, he married Lavina L. Curtis, who survives.
Robert was a jack all trade from building his custom trike motorcycle, to his beautiful woodworking. He enjoyed going boating, hunting, and fishing. He always loved to get on his motorcycle and take a trip with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Lavina, he is survived by 8 children: Bobby Carlson, David Foster, Donald Shank, Stephanie Moore, Terry Roibic, Clarence Foster, Carol Carlson, and Lori Acherman, several grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Loretta Wrotney, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son at birth, Steven Carlson, 1 brother, Eugene Carlson, 2 sisters, Diane Englert and Phyllis Olson.
A Funeral Service for Robert L. Carlson will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 4:00 PM Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, 103 South Fraley Street, Kane, PA 16735.
Visitation will be held at Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Interment will be at Mt Tabor Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
