He was born April 23, 1936, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Mary Benson Harris. Bucky grew up in Bennetts Valley and was a graduate of Penfield High School. He was a retired employee of Sylvania, retiring in 1996.
On February 5, 1966, in the St. Benedict's Church in Daguscahonda, Bucky married Joyce Mae Wolff, who preceded him in death on April 8, 2015.

I was so sorry to hear of Bucky´s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Bucky was a great player and follower of softball. He would always joke with me about sports so many times. He was fun to be around. He will be missed.

One of the great Dagus Wildcats I had the privilege of competing against. A fine gentleman and a great sport!
