Pete Albritton

Pete Albritton, aged 81, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025. Born in Fort Myers, Fla., on Nov. 30, 1943, to the late Cecil Thomas and Jessie Mae Albritton, Peter lived in Fort Myers until moving to Live Oak over 20 years ago. He proudly served in the Army and was a dedicated member of Mary Belle Baptist Church. Peter was the owner and operator of P&W Truck and Auto Repair in Fort Myers for over 25 years, where he worked as a certified mechanic. He enjoyed playing on his John Deere tractor and going on cruises.

Pete is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Kathy Albritton; his daughter, Dusty Albritton; his sons, Donny Albritton and wife Rian, Cecil Albritton and wife Stacy, and Matt Albritton and wife Zoe. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Pete was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, Doris and Mary Jo.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, at Mary Belle Baptist Church, 14919 76th St., in Live Oak, followed by a service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Dan Fender. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
