Amy Workman Obituary
Amy was a member of First Baptist Church of Kingston.
Amy was an incredible, loving wife, amazing mother, precious daughter, wonderful sister and a great friend to many people. Amy had a way to make a difference in the lives of the people she came in contact with. Amy's beautiful smile and sweet spirit was an inspiration to all who met her. Amy enjoyed working as a physical therapist at Patricia Neal Therapy in Harriman. Amy placed others' needs ahead of her own. She loved her Lord and Savior, and her faith never wavered. Her greatest joy came from watching her children, Joshua and Emily, grow and become the young adults they are today. She was their biggest fan and best encourager. Amy leaves a legacy of love, kindness and loyalty.
She is survived by her parents, Ted and Carolyn Morton; husband, Tony Workman; children, Joshua and Emily; sister, Karen Morton, Jacksonville, Fla.; and brother, Teddy Morton, Kingston.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in First Baptist Church of Kingston, with services to follow. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roane Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Sonny Works and the Rev. Jody McLoud officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Thompson Cancer Survival Center, 1915 White Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916. Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston, is in charge of arrangements. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com

Tony, Josh and Emily, Amy was such an inspiration to me and the boys. Through the way she lived her life she showed us what a faithful relationship with Jesus Christ is like. Tony and Emily, I know that your heart is broken. Amy will be missed by many. She was always quick to praise your fellow ball players to give them encouragement. I don't know that I ever saw her without that glowing smile. Heaven gained one of the most loved and precious angels that I have ever had the honor to know. Prayers for the family.

Amy will be sadly missed but she became part of the Heavenly Kingdom where there is no more suffering, pains, heartaches, and sadness but rejoicing forever.
