Beverly Ann Wolfe Hudson
August 5, 1942 - December 12, 2025
Beverly Ann Wolfe Hudson, of Blacksburg, Va., formerly of Pulaski, Va., passed away peacefully in her home at Warm Hearth Village on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age 83 under hospice care. Born on August 5, 1942, to Walter Pershing Wolfe and Elzina Smith Wolfe of Stewartstown, Pa., Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Alfred Hudson, Jr., and brother Richard Mark Wolfe of Stewartstown, Pa.
Beverly is survived by her three children, Robert "Robby" A. Hudson, III and daughter-in-law, Karen Scott Hudson of Blacksburg, Va., Kimberly Lynn Hudson Byrd and son-in-law, Cory Scott Byrd of Blacksburg, Va., and Elizabeth Amy Hudson Stanger and son-in-law, Jason Merle Stanger of Christiansburg, Va.; four grandsons, John Robert (JRob) Hudson, Scott Allen Hudson, Caden Wyatt Byrd, and Aiden Gage Stanger; sister-in-law, Patricia Hudson Richards and brother-in-law, James Richards of Pulaski, Va.; niece, Ashley Wallace Borders and family of Mechanicsville, Va.; niece, Kaitlyn Nicole Wolfe of Stewartstown, Pa.; and many beloved extended family and friends.
Beverly grew up in Stewartstown, Pa., and graduated from Kennard-Dale High School in 1960. Beverly served her country with the Central Intelligence Agency, posted in Washington, D.C. and abroad. She moved to Pulaski with her husband in 1970 where they entered into the automobile business and served the local community for over 32 years before relocating to Blacksburg, Va. Together, they supported local youth and high school activities, Virginia Tech athletics and members of the Virginia Tech Ut Prosim Society, and volunteered on many local boards and associations. Beverly was a member of Centennial Christian Church in McCoy, Va.
Visitation will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, Va. from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025. A Graveside Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski, Va. followed by a Memorial Service and reception at Centennial Christian Church in McCoy, Va. at 2 p.m. officiated by Pastor Todd Millsaps.
