May 10, 1942 - February 17, 2026
Bobby Eugene Wirt, 83, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Thelma Wirt; granddaughter, Ashley Spencer Roberts.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Choung Wirt; siblings, Larry Wirt (Eve), Peggy Eades, Rita Sacco; children, Bobby Lee Wirt (Melanie), Tammy Phillips (Tony), Jamie Wirt (Bonnie); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Chapel. Interment will follow services at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel.
