Camilla C. Joseph

1911 - 2008

Camilla C. Joseph, 96, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. She was born October 23, 1911, in Augusta County, daughter of the late Jacob and Mamie Houff Cline. She was the widow of Paul A. Joseph Sr. Her four sisters, Willie McAvoy, Mae Lillie Cline, Rosa Whitmer and Mary Armstrong; two brothers, Glenn Cline and Raymond Cline; and a great-grandson, Jonathan Stephen Joseph; also preceded her in death. Mrs. Joseph was a lifelong member of The Church of the Brethren. Her survivors include her children, Nancy Lee Western and her husband, Clinton, of Vinton, Paul A. Joseph Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Boones Mill, and Charles W. Joseph and his wife, Ann, of Worthington, Ohio; grandchildren, Clinton F. Western Jr., Larry G. Western and his wife, Tracy, Paul A. Joseph III and his wife, Lilli, Michael A. Joseph and his wife, Paula, Daniel S. Joseph and his wife, Christine, John M. Joseph and his wife, Lauri, and James M. Joseph and his wife, Stacey; great-grandchildren, Seth Western, Molly Western, Hunter Western, Amanda Singler and her husband, Jesse, Amber Geis, Maxwell Joseph, Sophia Joseph, Jacob Joseph, Micah Joseph, Rebecca Joseph, Suzanna Joseph, Sarah Joseph, Johanna Joseph, Josiah Joseph, Danielle Joseph, Krista Joseph and Caroline Joseph; greatgreat-grandchild, Finley Singler; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held noon on Saturday, August 16, 2008, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Paul R. White Sr. to officiate. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 540-982-2221.
