My mom Denise Sweeney just sent me this link and told me about Carl. Although I didn't know Carl, I do remember watching him when I was a kid in church. We always noticed how happy he seemed to be. We would always talk about how he would sing the peace song with such vigor that he influenced us to sing in the same way and smile as we did. Carl had no idea he touched us in this way, maybe now he does. I missed out on knowing him, I'm glad you guys didn't.

Carl was always one of my favorite people. I remember years ago when we would sing the peace song at the end of a Unity service, my son and I would affectionatley refer to Carl as "Mr. Enthusiastic" because he would sing with a big smile on his face and seemed to just enjoy being alive.
I'm so glad you and Carl could share your life together, Susan. He will not be forgotten.

Carl has been such a friend. Even if he couldn't hear me. So many wonderful Wednesday dinners while Susan sang in the choir.
