The Coe Ohana:

My prayers are with you and my thoughts drift to those old high school days with Perry. I haven't had the opportunity to see Perry in so long since moving away, but I'm sure that everyone who went to school with Perry remembers those times like they were yesterday. I regret not seeing him since I heard of his illness and it is somewhat comforting to know he is no longer suffering. To my good friend Faith, my sympathies and thoughts are with you in these difficult times.

My wife Patti & I went to GW w/ Perry. I played high school & rec ball w/ him in the late 70's & early 80's(those were fun days).
I have not seen him as much as I would like since then- I've been living away from Wytheville for the last 25+ years, but I've always considered Perry to be a very good friend. Certainly our condolences & prayers go out to all family & friends. I'm sure you're comforted knowing that he is now with our savior, joyful & pain-free.

with Christ's blessings,

Perry was one of the finest men I have ever met. He was always kind, dedicated, and fun to be around. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him. I am sure his sons will grow up to be just like him because he touched their lives in so many ways as he fought so hard for them as well as everyone he ever came in contact with. Perry you will never be forgotten.
