Constance Linkenhoker Obituary

Constance T. Hampsey (Connie) Linkenhoker, 89, of Buchanan, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at Friendship Health & Rehab. She was born February 3, 1923, daughter of the late Charles and Theresa Hampsey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Haden B. Linkenhoker; grandson, Stephen L. Juba Jr.; sister, Rosella Germinda; brother, Charles Hampsey; and son-in-law, Charlie Botkin. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Connie Botkin, Pat Mundy (Ralph), Richard Linkenhoker, Mary Lynn Heyliger (Ronnie) and Karen Juba (Steve); sister, Theresa Stets (Paul); and additional brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; grandchildren, Doug Mundy, Kara Mundy, Tuyen Bui, Sara Mundy, Matthew Linkenhoker, Nicholas Juba, Lara Heyliger and Ashley Heyliger; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers send donations to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 4634 Charlottesville, VA 22905.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at Rader Funeral Home, Daleville. A burial will be held at a later date in Crownsville, Md. Condolences may be made to www.rader-funeralhome.com. Rader Funeral Home is serving the family. 540-992-1212.
