Don was a kind-hearted soul. My fond memories of him were going to visit holidays, exploring that big house! I remember I thought the dining room table and buffet were huge. The lovely untouchable dishes on display on a white table runner were mesmerizing. There was a Fisher Price toy play farm house with animals characters stored in the basement that I loved to play with. I quickly learned who to ask permission to play with it. Every adult said NO, that belongs to Phillip and Jeffery, except Don. He always lead me down the steps to area where the farm toy was and instructed me when I was finished to make sure I put every piece back in farm house the way I found it. He said 'we don't care if it belongs to Phillip and Jeffery, they never use it, you enjoy it. I feel like I was captivated for hours with that farm house toy. "Thank you Don, you may have been the one that planted the seed for my interest in agriculture by allowing me that little freedom in your basement"! You will be missed by many and touched the hearts of many.

I took care of Don for a few months and he always made me smile! I would come let him know that it was time for lunch and he would pop right up, thank me, and tell me that I was a very pretty lady. May he rest in peace, he will be missed!

Don we will miss you. You organized so many family unions Richard/Tolley and was so dear to my mom Johnnie Gray Tolley Moore. I remember so many times at the gas pumps for the city of Radford you would greet me and talk about everything including family. Rest in peace our friend and family member. Condolences to all family.
