February 18, 1924 - March 22, 2025
Dorothy Fixx Rowland, lovingly known as Granny Sue, passed away gracefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 101.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Rowland; her parents, Guy and Mary Lula Fixx; and her son-in-law, Donald Bowman.
She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Bowman and Georgeanne Cole (Steve); her grandchildren, Allyson and Joe Acri, Jenifer and Jed Conerly and Lauren and John Romberger; and her great-granddaughter, Leah Acri.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel in Roanoke, VA. Graveside services will immediately follow at Daleville Cemetery in Daleville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Presbyterian Community Center, P.O. Box 12183, Roanoke, VA 24023 or to the charity of one's choice. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.Oakeys.com.
