E. Cromwell Obituary

E. Floyd Cromwell, 80, of Vinton passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. Mr. Cromwell served in the United States Army, and retired after 30 years of service with Ralph Hancock Trucking. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Barbara W. Cromwell; children, Debbie Cregger and husband, Mark, Roger Cromwell and wife, Alice, Robert (Bobby) Cromwell and wife, Teresa, Daniel Cromwell, and David Cromwell and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Veronica Wright, Robert Cromwell, Zachary Cromwell, Stephen Clevenger, and Trevor Rich; greatgrandchildren, Christian Michael Wright and Robert Daniel Cromwell; brother, James Cromwell; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Rocky. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the SPCA, or to an animal charity of your choice. A funeral service will be conducted 4 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 3 until service time at Simpson Funeral Home, 366-0707.
