Dr. Johnson took wonderful care of three generations of my family. He was an outstanding example of what a doctor and a human being should be. He was a wonderful model of living the Christian life. My prayers are with his family at this time.

Dr. Johnson was truly a distinguished gentleman. His love for Nancy was so apparent to all of us at Printer's Ink Bookstore.
Love knows no bounds and goes on throughout eternity.

An exceptional medical Doctor with true dedication, knowledge and professional caring for his patients. A fine Christian example.
My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Johnson and family.
Dr. Johnson was the family doctor to my grandmother, both parents and I saw him at the office when I was visiting my family. He made house calls to us on Maiden Lane, SW, our family home.
His diligent care, I truly feel helped extended the lives of:
1. Mrs. C. E. Wines 1878-1961 my maternal grandmother: 2. Daniel R. R. Sink 1913-1979; and lastly my Mother, Dorothy Wines Sink, 1912-1996.
I will always be grateful to Dr. Johnson for his care and blessed to have had him care for my family.

A gentleman, a caring and compassionate doctor, and a person whose values were compeletly focused on the well-being of others, that is the Earl Johnson I was honored to work with at Carilion Roanoke Memorial. What a wonderful person. While I lost track of him after his retirement, my thoughts and good feelings about him and the way he cared for his patients- remain. My condolences to the family.
