My name is David B Keene I was Ed´s next door neighbor on Gatewood ave Roanoke Virginia I´m guessing 1990 to 1992. Ed told me how they measured the width of the Rhine "we stretched a chain across it and pulled it with a Jeep
". We had a Pomeranian and Ed said he couldn´t open his screen door without it barking.

As a sophomore in the Communications Studies Department at Tech in 1978, I was pleased to spend time in Ed's classes. I've always remembered him as a caring, kind, and very helpful man who took a genuine interest in my education. I know his family and friends will miss him; know that there are many, many of his former students who will always remember him fondly.

Becky and Mike,
Please know I keep you in my thoughts and prayers. When I think of your dad what I remember first is his fantastic smile and upbeat disposition. I am sure that you miss him terribly.

May the memories of all that was good and joyful about Ed comfort you. He loved you both so much, and left this world better than he found it. How can we not - despite our sadness - celebrate that?

God bless,
Jodi (Rosendahl) Henrickson

Ed was one of the nicest and smartest people I have met in my 66 years on this planet. I thought a lot of him and spoke with him recently. He is responsible for my nickname. I loved him anyway.
