Elnora Powell GRAHAM

Elnora Powell Graham, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Richfield Recovery and Care Center after a long illness. She was born January 12, 1927 in Roanoke to Leon and Bertha Powell. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Salem almost 50 years, where she was instrumental in reorganizing the church library. She was also a member of several circle groups. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Ernest, at the VA Veterans Care Center; two children, Sharon Dunnagan (Alan) and Gary Graham (Sherry); four grandchildren, Ryane Dunnagan, Amber Hamme, Kristin Hunt and Tyler Graham.

Funeral services will be held noon on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Elmo McLaurin officiating. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 11 a.m. till service time.
