Faith "Chickie" Hughes passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 84 years.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on January 26, 1941, she is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles "Leon" Hughes; sons, David Hughes (Mary), Ron Hughes (Rhonda), and Don Hughes (Wendy); daughter, Linda Dewhirst (Matt); grandchildren, Emilie Cauley (Austin), Zacharie Hughes, Samantha and Tyler Hughes, Hannah Hughes, Wyatt, Molly and Sophie Dewhirst; along with their sweet cat, Buddy.
She thoroughly enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, baking and she enjoyed giving most of all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of daughter, Linda and Matt Dewhirst on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 1 p.m. Contact Linda via email at [email protected] if more information is needed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
