Frances Marie Benge Ransom of Blue Ridge, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Springtree Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on August 6, 1940, to the late John Patterson and Mary Puckett, and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn Ollis, Nan Payne, and Carolyn Louise.
She is survived by her sons, James David and wife, Dreama, and Richard Andrew and wife, Lisa; six grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew), Timothy, Scott, Joshua, Travis, and Kendra; and eight great-grandchildren, Karlee, Rylee, Ryan, Cayden, Isabelle, Lurelei, Jentry, and Nevaeh-Rose.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor Paul Stover officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.oakeys.com.
