Frank Lewis Obituary

Frank (Herb) Lewis, 85, of Salem, Va., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lou McCormick Lewis, of Lewisburg, W.Va.; and a sister, Frankie Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva Lewis; son, Steve Lewis and wife, Cindy; two daughters, Beth Goad and husband, Lynn and Julia Fitch and husband, Glenn; three granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Susie Linville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 27, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey and Son, Salem, Va. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or Covenant Community Church, both of Salem. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem, Va., is in charge of arrangements. 540-389-5441.
