Gail Euglow Obituary

Gail Schoonover Euglow

September 16, 1947 - October 9, 2024

Gail Schoonover Euglow passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Concord, California.

She was born on September 16, 1947, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Jack and Clara Schoonover. Gail attended Jefferson High School, where she was actively involved in student government and clubs, and was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year.

Gail's life was defined by her love for family, friends, good books, and sweet tea. Throughout her life, she lived in various places, including Alaska, Georgia, North Carolina, and California. She deeply cared for her children, grandchildren, and friends, always quick to make new connections and lend a helping hand wherever she went.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Euglow, with whom she shared 52 years, as well as her brother, Jackie Schoonover, and her sister, Cindy Harrison. She is survived by her son, Michael Euglow (Sarah) of Alamo, CA; her daughter, Judith Willenborg (John) of Paradise Valley, AZ; and six grandchildren: Ryan Euglow, Jack Euglow, Cash Euglow, Evan Euglow, Elin Willenborg, and Ike Willenborg.

A celebration of Gail's life will be held at a later date to be determined.
