Gail Williams Obituary

Gail "Nana" Williams

Gail "Nana" Williams, 70, of Roanoke, Va., was called home to heaven on Wednesday evening, July 7, 2021. She was the widow of Phillip J. Williams and Gerald W. Fore. She was preceded in death by Belva Gearldine Bowling and Robert W. Bowling.

She is survived by her beloved special sister, Sue "Aunty" Henley and brother-in-law, the late Jerry W. Henley. She will also be leaving behind her best friend, companion and right-hand man Charlie "Pops" Sutphin. Nana was survived by her two children, Kimberly Fore and Christopher Fore; with a special thank you to Carole Leftwitch for all that she did for Nana. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Abney Williams-Brown (Max Brown), Travis Conner (Jenna Dunbar), and her most cherished, beloved Colten "Colt-Colt" Fore; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Brown and Sophia J. Dunbar. She was everyone's go-to Nana. She was the most loving and caring woman. Nana took care of everyone before herself. We were all blessed to have a woman like her in our lives! She will be more than just missed by all and loved by so many.

So sorry for your loss! Gail was one of the strongest women I've ever known. The greatest compliment I could pay her is to say that she cared...about everything she did and every person she touched. She is missed.
