George Benson Obituary

George Lawson Benson Sr., 88, of Roanoke, Va., and formerly of Parkville, Md., passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred C. (nee Riley) Benson; devoted father of Susan C. Ostrowski and her husband, John, George L. Benson Jr. and his wife, Ginny, Linda M. TelIian and her husband, Frank, Janet A. Michael and her husband, Robert, and Michael H. Benson and his wife, Shelia; grandfather of Angela Grier and her husband, Matt, Terry Benson, Patricia Reynolds and her husband, Mark, Kevin Arseneau, Melissa Mallroy, Brian, JP, and Nona; great-grandfather of Joshua Mallroy, Mackenzie Mallroy, Noah Arseneau, Ashley Michael, Jessica Michael, and Wyatt Grier; brother-in-law of George Lotterer, Shirley Lotterer, and Henrietta Riley; and uncle of Sandra Porter, Tom Lotterer, and David Lotterer. Friends may call at the family-owned Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Md. 21093 on Sunday, November 16, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 be ginning at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their greatest appreciation to the staff at the VA Veterans Care Center for their superior care.

I'm sorry to read about your lost. Jesus promise us at Acts 24:15 " I have hope toward God, which hope these men themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection etc..." May God continue to bless and strengthen your family at this time.
