Lil,
So very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Aunt Lorraine Spence called me today and told me. She was such a special person and we all loved her especially my dad Melvin Clark her first cousin. We have often thought of you and your family but have lost touch. I want to send you a card. My address is 309 Ridgewood Road Bassett, VA 24055 if you get the chance send me your address. I am also sorry to here about your Aunt Pete's passing in paper today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and love.

Lil,

I am very sorry to hear of Gladys' passing. What a wonderful Mom she was to you and also a wonderful friend and confident to so many others. There are just so many wonderful memories I have of our time together and how you and your mom shared your home and time with me. While I was not a "Fighting Blue" for long and my time in BV was somewhat short---you and your mom made it a very special time there.

We are all blessed in so many ways - I remain thankful that I was blessed with you and your Mom's presence in my life.

Peace my friend----God Bless to you and Rick and the children.

Lil and Rick- I smile when I think about your mom. I remember her as loving and sincere. I think of y'all often as I drive to Lexington. You are in my prayers.
