Glenn McPeak Obituary

Glenn Edward McPeak, 48, of Austinville, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008. He was born in Pulaski Co., Va. on January 10, 1960. He was a merchandiser for Anderson News Associates and was a member of Foster Falls United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Roby Friel McPeak. He is survived by his wife, Carol Walk McPeak, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Joshua "Josh" and Leslie McPeak, Max Meadows, Va.; a granddaughter, Isabella McPeak; his mother, Beulah Mabry McPeak, of Foster Falls, Va.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Karen and Leon Crigger, of Austinville, Barbara Wright, of Foster Falls, Va.; two nephews, Brian Humphrey of Foster Falls, Va. and Chris Crigger of Hillsville, Va.; his mother-in-law, Margaret Walk of Porters Cross Roads; and several aunts, uncles and other close relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Foster Falls United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Harold Coleman and the Rev. Elizabeth King officiating. Interment will follow in the Foster Falls Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Reese Funeral Home, at his residence, or at the home of his mother at anytime. Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
