Gretchen A. Jirout, 93, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025.
She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church and retired from Motors Insurance Corporation. She was also in the Cotillion Club, 200 Club, and 300 Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jirout.
Surviving are her loving sons, Michael (Missy) Jirout and David (Eva) Jirout.
The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to Edwina Cannaday for her kindness and care shown to Gretchen during this time.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Oakey's South Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with her family by visiting www.Oakeys.com.
