To the Seymour family,
I enjoyed knowing Helene during our time of worship and events at St. Gerard's. You were a faithful supporter of the Gospel Choir and we enjoyed your being with us. May God Bless and keep your family as you start your new life in Heaven. Love,

Mrs. Helena - as Christopher and I would affectionately call her; a strong, caring and determined woman. She lived to share her many gifts with family, friends and others in need. She will definitely be missed at Golden Corral and IHOP, where she frequented often enjoying her Saturday and Sunday mornings. A constant figure in the St. Gerard's Catholic Church family. She always put her faith and family first. Mrs. Helena, you will be missed but we know that you are happy now (together with Papa Steve) and that your spirit will live on. God bless you.

Steve, My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you on the loss of your mother. She will truly be missed. From Westside Elementary School to Kroger, she and I always carried on a conversation. She watched me grow from a child into adulthood. It was truly a joy to have known her.

My Dear Friend Helene
It will be a task to get adjusted you not being seen...
Your wish was for 100 earthly years of life....
However GOD didn't want you to go through all the earthly stress & strife...
You've saddened all the waiters/waitresses too...
For they won't be receiving anymore good tips from you...
I will miss you riding with me to North Carolina...On the way you would be looking for a good diner...Whenever I look out the window as I normally would to check on you...I will quickly be reminded that GOD sent his "heavenly dove" for you to join he and Steve your love.....Rest and enjoy heaven for if we live right we shall see one another again!
