Dearest Janice - I have thought so much about you & know I have signed this guestbook earlier, but I wanted to let you know that we have dinners every month on the last Tuesday of the month always meet at 5:30 pm. A lot of your friends are there & would love to see you come join us - most of all, me. Mostly retirees show up and bring guests if they'd like - everyone is welcome.

April 28th, we will go to Shaker's at 5:30pm. May 26th, we will go to Red Lobster. We alternate those 2 restaurants each month. We have such a nice time and I'm sure you've attended in the past when Mary Ellen Smith organized this group & got this off the ground back years ago. It started out as the retired operator's dinner but has evolved to just a nice time with friends mostly associated with the telephone family.

I'd really love to see you & have you join us. We have a great time with different folks showing up each month - it's not a huge crowd - averages 20. Please plan to come some time. If you ever want to know where we're going, ask Margaret Murphy, Elvia or call me on 563-0267. No RSVP is required. If you are in town & think about coming & have not called, don't worry - just come & bring anyone you'd like or come alone. Most of us do come as singles. Don't worry about how you're dressed - we don't! It's very casual & lots of fun. I know you'll be glad you did!!

Hope things are getting a little better for you. It will take time. You have always been a very special person in my life, I've known you all my life and I'd love to see you and you may feel like getting away from the house especially with summer coming up and it will be light to come & go. If there is anything I can do, please call. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your entire family.

Love you -
Charmaine

Dear Janice and family, My husband Henry and I were deeply sad to hear of the passing of your husband Orlin. Charmaine had let us know. You may also have known my Uncle in Roanoke, W. A. "Pike" Boitnott. You and I both worked at C&P now Verizon. I retired in 2000. Know that you and your family are in our prayers. May God give you comfort during this time. Know that many people are thinking of you. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Again our deepest sympathy.
