Hello and God Bless,As you all may know, I knew Blind as Uncle Speedy. I never got to met his baby daughter because he lived in Roanoke and I was living in Nashville and Richmond and few short years later. I have know "Blind" Since I was a little girl and he adored me as well as my sister and brother. We were close when we were younger and grew up with his three sons Jermaine, James II and Jarrett Campbell. My mother and father were close to him and my father who just recently passed away a week to the day that Uncle Speedy passed away. He and my father John Hundley III were close and were more like brothers. I remember not to long ago - Uncle Speedy wanted to see daddy as he final request - well they never got to do that because both were extremely ill and could not travel- however God took care of that request for both of them and now they are together in Glory. I will miss my uncle Speedy and the good times we had at 3220 Garrett St. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. One last thing Uncle Speedy always loved me specially and would sing this song to me as a little girl - "Wild Thing, you make my heart sing, you make eveything Groovy"!- he always had a way of making me feel special and he made me think I was his little girl until he one. I will always love you Uncle Speedy! - Cheryl Hundley and Family

Your family has our deepest sympathy.
Our family will truly miss him. Whatever was going on "Blind" was always on the scene just like family. We could really get his youngest daughter going. She will always be known as "Baby Blind"! Venita, keep the faith. "Pops" is already missing him, they were indeed "The Odd Couple"!
