James C. DeBusk

James C. (JC) (Jay) DeBusk, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011, in the Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Va. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany in World War II. He had worked for Brunswick Corporation in Marion for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Thomas DeBusk; his parents, Lillian Elizabeth and James Edward DeBusk; and one brother, Odell DeBusk. Survivors include his daughter, Dora Jean Stewart and husband, Woody; three grandchildren, Leigh Ellen Gusler (Jason McClelland), B.J. Jackson Jr., and Becky Leonard (Mike Amady); and four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Shane Gusler, and Zack Leonard (Kelly Webb). Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011, at Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Williams Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the Valley Health Care Staff for all of their loving care.
