My condolences to the Hancock family. About six years ago James visited me at Hungary Mother State Park. We had a good but small family reunion! I thankful that James took it upon himself to travel from Roanoke to Hungary Mother Park and allowed me to know him as a part of myself and my cousin! James Douglass Hancock was the son of Maggie Dunnaville and Alexander Hancock and the grandson of James Nelson Hancock and Laura Vaugters. Alexander was my grandfather's younger brother! My grandfather was Clem Coleman Hancock. I am grateful for the interesting and valuable family information that James shared with me!
