Jane A. Lynch Gibson

Jane A. Lynch Gibson, 81, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 1, 2009. She is preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Lee Gibson; sisters, Gladys Minnix, Dolly Spangler and Jean Pate; and brother, Jesse Lynch. Surviving are her husband, Herman E. Gibson; sons and daughtersin-law, Cecil Wayne and Rhonda Gibson, of Rocky Mount, and Jimmy Lewis and Edna Gibson, of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa Dale and Kenneth Wood, of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Joe Lynch, of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday February 3, 2009, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
