Jeff Povtak, 65, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Jeff was a follower of Jesus. He was the son of a good man with an angel of a mother. He was a husband to one woman for more than 35 years. He was a brother, an uncle and a friend.
He leaves his wife, Patricia, whom he married on May 12, 1990; a brother, Tim Povtak (Sharlene); sister-in-law, Betsy Povtak; mother-in-law, Carol Crockett; brother-in-law, Mike Crockett; nephews, Mike Povtak, Matt Povtak and Jake Crockett; nieces, Jessica Povtak (Micheal Nham, and children, Bowen and Maia), Marika Povtak, Carling Povtak and Shelby Povtak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Helen Povtak and brothers, Dave Povtak and Mike Povtak.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church with visitation following in the Fellowship Hall.
The family respectively requests no flowers and instead, contributions may be made to First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2101 Jefferson Street, SW, Roanoke, VA 24014, in memory of Jeff. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.Oakeys.com.
