John Cocke Obituary
September 24, 1955 - March 29, 2025
John Frederick Cocke ("Fred" to friends and family) of Roanoke passed away on March 29, 2025 and was laid to rest at Evergreen Burial Park with his parents Hugh and Betty Cocke. He is survived by his brother David Cooke of San Rafael, California.
Fred graduated from Patrick Henry high school and the University of Virginia. He enjoyed singing karaoke and playing competitive Scrabble at tournaments up and down the East Coast. Fred read extensively and was always up for a good debate or philosophical discussion. He will be missed by many friends and by his family.

I have known fred for a long time we spoke alot on the phone I know he will be missed we talked about many different subjects. Fred was very very smart and I know he is in a much better place
