John Obenchain Obituary
August 20, 1933 - June 25, 2025
John Boyd Obenchain, age 91 of Roanoke, passed away at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Salem, VA on June 25, 2025.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Joann of 72 years; his sons, J.B. (Beth) and Scott (Lisa); as well as his four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11 a.m. in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.

Worked with John for many years as civil engineering firm associating with Mills, Oliver , and Webb. Had huge respect for John as an engineer and businessman . A void is left behind . RIP John
