Dear Slusser Family,
With deepest sympathy on your loss. I share a deep connection with Linda. We were both born on the same day in Dr. Morgan's Office in Fincastle and the Nurse (Ms. Booth) gave us both the same name (Linda Gale). We were in the same classes at Breckinridge Elementary School and graduated from Lord Botetourt together. We were the best of friends during our school days. Throughout the years, we would run into each other occasionally and it was always great to talk with her and catch up on things. I always admired and loved Linda's long hair. My sister & niece have always called me Sissy too. It is almost like we were twins. Different directions separated our lives; however, she was always in my heart and I thought about her often. My biggest regret is that I was not there in the end of her life. May God bless and console you in the day's ahead and give you the comfort you need. I will always remember Linda fondly and will miss her dearly. I thank God for the memories. Prayers are with you.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. I hope that Daddy and Charlotte was there to show you the way to heavens gate.
