We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Luigi Greco age 73. Luigi passed away after a battle of pancreatic cancer, surrounded by family on July 13, 2024.

Luigi was born on March 26, 1951 in Rocca Di Neto, Italy to Francesco and Anna Greco. His family immigrated to Brooklyn, NY. As a young boy, he began his love and passion for pizzerias working in mom-and-pop pizza shops in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Long Island. Luigi moved to Rocky Mount, VA in 1982 to begin a successful career by opening the first Frank's Pizza. In 1991 he opened Frank's Pizza at Hunting Hills in Roanoke. To follow was Frank's Pizza at 3743 Brambleton Avenue. He opened his last location at 5933 Williamson Road in Roanoke. He served the Roanoke area for more than 40 years with his passion, love for pizzerias, and great Italian food made from his heart.

Luigi loved his wife, his family, and most of all God.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his three biological children, two daughters, Danielle (Shane), Fin O'Shea; and son, Luigi; and their mother, Kerry; two stepdaughters, Brittney (Dennis), and Jourdan; and five grandchildren.

He leaves behind his brothers, Gaetano Greco, Alfonzo Greco, Mario Greco, Dominick Greco, and Steve Greco; sister, Franca Corigliano; and their spouses and children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Anna Giulia Greco; and his brother, Antonio Greco.

A service to honor Luigi's life will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church at 4700 Northridge Lane, Roanoke VA.
