Mary Morris Hall

Mary Morris Hall, 91, of 220 Hillcrest Drive, in Rocky Mount, Va., died peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at the home of her son, Fred O. Hall Jr. and daughterin-law, Donna L. Hall, in Hardy, Va. She was born on July 12, 1918, the daughter of the late Stephen T. Morris and Sallie S. Morris, of Rocky Mount, Va. She was preceded in the death by her husband, Fred O. Hall Sr. on July 22, 1983. Also preceding her in death were her brother, William Ralph Morris; and sisters, Edith Morris Youngman and Helen Morris Fossett. Mrs. Hall was a life long member of the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church and the family suggests memorials in her memory be made to the church. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009, from Franklin Memorial Park with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating.
