Mary Willson Hilliard

Mary Willson Hilliard, 90, of Lexington, Va., died on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at her home. She was born in Easton, Pa., a daughter of the late Clinton Thielens Hilliard and Mary Sletor Willson Hilliard. Miss Hilliard graduated from Easton High School, Wellesley College and received an M.A. from Lehigh University. She moved to Lexington in 1974, where she served on the boards of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, the Rockbridge Area League of Women Voters, the Rockbridge Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Friends of the Rockbridge Area Library. At one time she was docent at the Stonewall Jackson House. Interment will be in the family plot in Easton, Pa. Arrangements by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
