July 9, 1930 - November 6, 2025
Mary Campbell Stokes, 95, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Campbell Sr. and Angie Hodges Campbell; husband, Garland W. Stokes Sr.; son, Garland Stokes Jr. "Buddy"; and one brother and two sisters.
Left to cherish Mary's memory are her daughters, Bethany Clingenpeel (Mike) and Teri Bradbury (Lewis); bonus son, Steve Murray; furbaby, Poppy; and several nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke. A service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor James Requist officiating. A graveside will conclude the services for Mary at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Dear Hope and Terri,
I´m out of town this week but saw your mom´s obituary. I´m sorry I can´t be there in person today. I realize that I never kept in touch and also that we haven´t seen each other or spoken since Buddy died.
