Mesio "Mazz" Joseph Manello

Mesio "Mazz" Joseph Manello, 88, of Blue Ridge, Virginia, passed away peacefully with his loved ones present on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad followed by years of being a Barber. He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joey Manello.

Mazz is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lydia Manello; daughter, Denise Manello McGee and husband, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Sherry Manello; four grandchildren, Michael Hrabosky III, Abby Hrabosky, Joey Manello II, and JuJu Manello; and one sister, Ester Pisani.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery.

I am really sorry that we have lost Mazz. No one ever cut my hair with so much care as Mazz. And I always enjoyed him as a person. I pray for comfort for all you.
