Mitchell Worrell Obituary
February 9, 1961 - February 17, 2021
Mitchell Dean Worrell Sr. 60, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bernice Guynn Worrell; brothers, Michael and Walter "PeeWee" Worrell; a sister Barbara Allen; and special friend, Linda Carr.
Dean was an avid outdoors man with a special love of hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his dog Stubby.
Surviving are his sons, Mitchell D. (Amanda) Worrell II, and Lorenzo Hurley; daughter, Tandeia Pannell; grandchildren, Mya Dunbar, Davion and Cameron Hurley, Abigail Worrell, Ronnie Pannell Jr., Kayloni Dunbar, and Autumn Leftwich; brother, Daniel (Katherine) Worrell; and sisters, Donna (Dean) Harbaugh, Mary (Stacy) Underwood.
The family will receive friends and family from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, 366-0707
