Paul Edward Humphrey

March 13, 1944 - July 2, 2024

Paul Edward Humphrey 80, of Hardy, Va., went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl S. Humphrey and Nina L. Burkholder Humphrey; his loving wife of 59 years, Dianne Hodges Humphrey; and infant daughter, Tina Lynn Humphrey.

Paul's memory will be cherished by his son, Jason E. Humphrey; brothers, Elbert (Joyce) Humphrey and Larry (Wanda) Humphrey; sister, Linda (Ed) Clark; sisters-in-law, Fay (Jimmy) Draper and Carolyn Schoonover; many nieces and nephews and friends.

His Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Minister Jeff Shawver officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens where Military Honors will be presented by U.S. Air Force.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donation be made to Riverdale Baptist Church, 1624 Edgerton Ave., SE, Roanoke, VA 24014, where he was a longtime active member. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.Oakeys.com.
