Robert "Bobby" Lewis Beard Jr., 81, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Arrangements by Oakey's Vinton Chapel (540) 982-2221.

I have only known Bob for a year since he moved to Friendship but my life was enriched by knowing him. I will treasure memories of sharing fresh produce around the Village that he donated. I will always remember his love of antiques and history.
