Rowan Margaret Sibthorp

Rowan Margaret Sibthorp, 8 year old daughter of Bryan and Colleen (Donovan) Sibthorp, of Moline, Ill., died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill. Funeral services are 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, Ill. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Therapy Center of The Quad Cities, 1504 13th Ave., Moline, Ill. 61265 or to the Support Organization For Trisomy 18, 2982 South Union St., Rochester, N.Y. 14624. Rowan was born on June 29, 2000 in Rock Island. She attended Black Hawk Area Education Center, East Moline. Survivors include her parents, Bryan and Colleen; sister, Laurel Eliza Sibthorp, at home; grandparents, Rebecca and Greg Nieman, Springfield, Ill., Craig and Anne Marie Sibthorp, Salem, Va., and Kenneth and Lucy Donovan, Andrew, Iowa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
