Ruby C. Bonham

Ruby C. Bonham, 78, of Salem, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was a devoted wife as well as a loving mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents, James Sidney and Irene Caldwell; and her husband, L. Earl Bonham Jr. Her surviving family includes her children, Dawn B. DeBoer and husband, Jay, Timothy J. Bonham and wife, Debra, and Darah Bonham and wife, Julie; brother, James Caldwell; sister, Norma Wray; grandchildren, Sydney DeBoer, Skylar DeBoer, Dustin J. Bonham, Reilly Bonham, and Reese Bonham; and cousin, Millie Butler. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2008, in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
