My deepest sympathy goes to the Family of Iris Brammer. She has been such a wonderful influence on so many people in this area. Mrs. Brammer was a true humitaritian and loved children and young people so very much. She has been greatly missed at the Library and will always hold a very special place in the hearts of all of Narrows and her "Kids". God bless you.

My deepest sympathies to the Brammer family. As an avid reader I was a frequent visitor to the Narrows library and have many fond memories of the time I spent there with Mrs. Brammer. She truly was a person who made a difference in the lives of so many.

Mrs Brammer was a sweet lady. She was a memeber of my church when I was in high school and she brought me to the lord and I will never forget her.

Mrs. Brammer had an impact on my husband, Carl Blankenship while he was in school. I imagine his name is still in the Hardy Boy books and Zane Gray books in the library. Then she encouraged our two boys thru their school years. I had the privilege of being one of the many volunteers at the library and learned so much from Mrs. Brammer. She led my husband to the Lord. I was able to spend time with Mrs. Brammer at many Woman's activities at First Baptist.
She always told me that when she got to heaven she planned on having a talk with "Paul" but I imagine she is just enjoying the company of her Lord. Well done thy good and faithful servant....may you rest in peace.

Mrs. Brammer was such a positive role model as I was growing up in Narrows. Her gentle spirit touched all she came into contact with at the library, church and across many continents through her missionary work. Of her, it can be truly said: Well done, good and faithful servant.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Brammer family. She was a special person. I was a member or her Cub Scout Pack in the mid 1950's and still have fond memories of the meetings at her home and the love she expressed toward us kids. May GOD'S blessings be with her family.

Mrs. Brammer was such a special lady. I went to library every 2 weeks and get at least 10 books to read. She always knew how to make you feel like you was the most special person in the world. She always brag on my artwork and paintings and she was so happy when we gave her a bird that time. I thought she was so interesting and so kind. I wish I could be more like her. May God give you comfort at this time.Melinda Bowles Tabor and family

I spent many hours with Mrs. Brammer at the library when I visited my grandparents, the Woodson's. They lived just down the street from the library and did not have a TV! So I would walk to the library and Mrs. Brammer would help me find exciting books to keep me entertained. I would sometimes go there several times a day. I loved visiting with her and she made the time fly with her world of books rather than television. I was in Narrows a couple of weeks ago with my 13 year old daughter and shared my love of Mrs. Brammer and her world of books. My daughter is an avid reader and she really appreciated these stories (though she could not fathom not having a TV!). I inquired about Mrs. Brammer but no one was able to tell me anything about her. I had no idea she had done so much mission work throughout the world. She indeed was a very special lady who spread her love of others everywhere. I know you will miss her yet rejoice she has joined her husband with the Lord. May God bless each of you and give you strength during this time.
