Ruby Pangle Grimes

Ruby Pangle Grimes, 89, of Roanoke, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Brook Grimes; and daughters, Ruby Joann and Patricia Mae Grimes. Surviving are her son, Bruce Grimes and special friend, Donald Clarke, of Washington, D.C.; daughter, Sandy Albright and husband, D. G. Albright, of Roanoke; grandson, Dustin Albright and wife, Amy, of Greenville, S.C.; granddaughter, Hilary Albright, of Richmond; sisters, Martina Hodge, of Deland, Fla., and Nancy Peircey, of Falls Church, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Roanoke United Methodist Home, 1009 Old Country Club Road, Roanoke, Va. 24019. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Roy Miller. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Saturday, January 17, 2009, in Chesnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, Va.
